Castle Caereinion Community Land Trust

Planning permision for ten new affordable homes in Castle Caereionion has been granted by Powys County Council. The need for affordable homes in Powys has dramaticly increased from 1996 - 2006, as there has been a 222% increase in the house prices, and therefor the new homes have been granted planning permision; with help from ' Land For People', due to the servere lack of affordable housing for young and local people.

The new homes will enable: affordable housing for locals; and will provide a voice for the community in the development of the village.
